Not Every Healing Space Looks the Same
At Rebel Wellness, healing is not about perfection. It is about safety, regulation, connection, and learning how to exist in your body without constantly bracing for impact.
Onyx is currently training as a service dog and is sometimes present within the studio environment as part of his ongoing public access and environmental training.
His training focuses on calm behavior, neutrality, settling quietly, confidence in new environments, and learning how to respectfully exist within a professional wellness setting.
As someone who understands nervous system dysregulation, chronic stress, trauma recovery, and hypervigilance, creating a grounded environment matters deeply to me.
For many people, a calm animal presence can feel regulating and comforting. For others, it may not feel supportive, and that is equally respected here.
Client comfort comes first.
Clients are always welcome to request a dog-free session. No explanation is needed.
Your session should feel safe, supportive, and comfortable for you. That includes honoring allergies, sensitivities, past experiences, personal preferences, or simply wanting a dog-free environment.
If Onyx is present during your visit:
• He remains in his designated area
• He is not permitted to roam freely
• Interaction is always optional and client-led
• Some days he may simply rest quietly while learning the environment. He is a puppy and learning. We appreciate you being a part of this process
