Manuka Honey Face Massage is a natural rejuvenation treatment that uses the antibacterial, hydrating, and restorative properties of Manuka honey. While nourishing and therapeutic, it involves direct application of honey to the skin, which carries certain considerations. Contraindications This service may not be appropriate if you have: Allergies to honey, bees, pollen, or bee byproducts Active skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, rosacea, cold sores, open wounds, or infections) Severe acne or inflamed cystic acne Recent chemical peels, laser treatments, or microdermabrasion (within 7 days) Very sensitive skin prone to irritation or rashes Risks & Responsibilities Honey may cause temporary redness, tingling, or a sticky sensation. Rarely, honey can trigger an allergic reaction (itching, swelling, hives). If discomfort occurs, the treatment will be stopped and the honey removed immediately. You are responsible for disclosing allergies, skin sensitivities, or recent facial procedures before your session. I release Rebel Wellness and my therapist from liability for any skin reaction or complications that may result from this treatment, except in cases of gross negligence.
