Cancellation Policy
Hot stone massage uses heated basalt stone, Himalayian Salt Stones and or Synergy Stones as an extension of the therapist’s hands. While deeply relaxing, it does involve higher temperatures and direct application of heat, which carries some additional risks. Please read and sign below to acknowledge your understanding. Contraindications Hot stone massage may not be appropriate if you have: Cardiovascular issues (uncontrolled high/low blood pressure, heart disease) Diabetes or neuropathy Skin conditions (eczema, rashes, open wounds, recent burns) Varicose veins, phlebitis, blood clots Pregnancy (unless cleared and modified session provided) Recent surgery, fractures, or acute injury Any condition where you cannot sense heat accurately If you are unsure, please consult your physician before receiving treatment. Risks & Responsibilities Stones are heated but will always be tested before use. Please communicate immediately if you feel the stones are too hot or uncomfortable. Possible risks include: burns, skin irritation, dizziness, or aggravation of pre-existing conditions. It is your responsibility to inform your therapist of any medical conditions, medications, or changes to your health before each session. Consent & Release I understand that hot stone massage is not a substitute for medical treatment or diagnosis. I have disclosed all relevant health information and will update my therapist of any changes. I acknowledge the risks and voluntarily consent to receive hot stone massage. I release Rebel Wellness and my therapist from any liability for injury or complications that may result from this treatment, except in cases of gross negligence. By booking this session, I agree that I have read and consent to the above terms, and I confirm that I have no contraindications to receiving hot stone massage.
